SIBO-Friendly Sugar-Free Brownies
Low FODMAP – No flour – No added sugar
📝 Ingredients (8x8 inch / 20x20 cm pan)
1 cup natural almond butter (no sugar added)
⚠️ If you're very sensitive, avoid peanut butter.2 large eggs
¼ cup melted coconut oil
⅓ cup unsweetened 100% cocoa powder
3–4 tbsp erythritol or stevia to taste (test tolerance)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
½ tsp baking soda
Optional:
1–2 tbsp chopped walnuts (small amount only)
A few 85% dark chocolate chips (no sugar added)
👩🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Mix almond butter and eggs until smooth and creamy.
Add melted coconut oil and vanilla.
Stir in cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, and baking soda.
Mix until fully combined (batter will be thick — that’s normal).
Pour into a lined baking pan and spread evenly.
Bake 18–22 minutes.
🔎 Important:
Insert a toothpick — it should come out with moist crumbs, not wet batter.
Overbaking will make them dry and hard.
⚠️ Important If You Have SIBO
Start with one small square to test tolerance.
Don’t combine with fruit or dairy in the same meal.
If you’re in an antibiotic phase, use stevia instead of erythritol.
Remember:
In SIBO, it’s not just about “no sugar.”
It’s about reducing fermentation load
